Ever wanted to be a part of brewing a beer in a commercial brewery setting? Here, is your chance! You will get to spend a day brewing a beer with the Barker Brew Crew. Prior to the brew day, you will get to work with the brewer to decide what style of beer you would like to brew and be a part of developing the recipe. On brew day you will get to go through the entire process from milling the grain, brewing the wort, transferring to the fermenter, and pitching the yeast. You will have naming rights for the beer and can name it whatever you want! Once the beer is kegged and ready to serve you will be invited to the special tapping event with Big Brothers Big Sisters employees, board members, volunteers, and Barker Brewhouse customers. In addition to the winning bid amount for this Brew Day Experience, ALL proceeds from the sale of this beer will be donated to Big Brothers Big Sisters. By winning this Brew Day experience, you have the opportunity to help raise a lot of money for a great organization, all while brewing (and drinking) your own beer creation! The winning bidder will work with Barker Brewhouse to select a date to do the Brew (Monday- Saturday). Typical brew days will take anywhere from 5-8 hours. Brew day experience is for 1-2 people, and must be 21+.
